The Shifa’a Club (Brothers)
The Shifa’a Club
The Shifa’a Club is a monthly coffee and catch-up session organised by the Green Lane Masjid Cancer Support Service for brothers who have been affected by chronic illnesses.
Whether you are currently living with a chronic illness, caring for someone who has a chronic illness or supporting a loved one through their journey, this gathering provides an opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming and supportive environment.
Over tea, coffee and conversation, brothers can share experiences, build friendships and benefit from mutual support from others who understand the challenges that chronic illnesses can bring. Our aim is to create a safe space where attendees can relax, reflect and focus on their wellbeing whilst building a sense of brotherhood and community.
As the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Allah is at the aid of His servant so long as the servant is at the aid of his brother.” (Sahih Muslim)
Our first official Shifa’a Club session will take place on Sunday 19th July 2026 from 12:00pm–1:30pm.
Future sessions will take place on the third Sunday of each month at Green Lane Masjid inshaAllah.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing a warm drink, good company and beneficial conversation, inshaAllah.
Register your interest below and a member of the team will be in touch.
