The Shifa’a Club (Brothers)
The Shifa’a Club ☕
The Shifa’a Club is a monthly coffee and catch-up session organised by the Green Lane Masjid Cancer Support Service for brothers who have been affected by cancer.
Whether you are currently living with cancer, caring for a loved one, or supporting a family member through their journey, this gathering provides an opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming and supportive environment.
Over tea, coffee and conversation, brothers can share experiences, build friendships and benefit from mutual support from others who understand the challenges that cancer can bring. Our aim is to create a safe space where attendees can relax, reflect and focus on their wellbeing whilst building a sense of brotherhood and community.
As the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Allah is at the aid of His servant so long as the servant is at the aid of his brother.” (Sahih Muslim)
Our first official Shifa’a Club session will take place on Sunday 19th July 2026 from 12:00pm–1:30pm.
Future sessions will take place on the third Sunday of each month in the Community Hall at Green Lane Masjid (via Door F).
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing a warm drink, good company and beneficial conversation, in sha Allah.
Register your interest below and a member of the team will be in touch.
